Following 20 highly successful years as a Television and Film producer and resident of Central London, David moved to the "country" and a career in real estate six years ago, selling luxury property in the upscale market of South East England.

Returning to US in 2003, David is now in his fourth year as an Arizona licensed realtor. Although appreciative of the desert, he is a city rat at heart, specializing in urban real estate. Previously a partner in a smaller real estate company, he moved to The Equitable in November 2006. There he joined one of The Equitable’s top two real estate teams, The Moskowitz & Gilbert Group. Together with Ronnie Gilbert, he co-founded Moskowitz Gilbert Newcombe Urban (MGN Urban) in early 2007. David is an e-Pro realtor, one of the first qualified Eco-Brokers in Arizona and a co-founder of The Equitable’s Green real estate division.

Whilst in Arizona, David has worked closely with land agents, developers, residential buyers and new home agents, predominantly focused in the redeveloping and rejuvenating areas of downtown and mid town Phoenix and downtown Scottsdale. He has an excellent working knowledge of Phoenix and Scottsdale’s emerging urban markets and projects, as well as relationships with developers and both new home and resale real estate agents working in the urban marketplace.

David is serving Chair of Scottsdale Association of Realtor’s MLS committee, serves on the ARMLS MLS Committee and has just finished serving on the ARMLS Board of Directors task group to decide the future MLS system provider for the 40,000 strong realtor base in the ARMLS area. He has been invited to the Board of the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors for 2008.

Bart Mruz

bart.mruz@russlyon.com

Bart joined MGN Urban in 2008 after a five-year career with a Phoenix new home builder.  In that capacity, he achieved Presidents’ Circle twice for new home sales and service excellence.  It was the opportunity to focus on urban living and architectural design that led Bart to change course and go upward so-to-speak.

Currently selling The Majestic at Westgate City Center, Bart looks forward to assisting buyers with finding the perfect floorplan to meet their urban living needs.  It’s the dynamic urban appeal, excellent use of space, and “living above the action” that drives Bart’s passion for selling such a lifestyle.

Bart’s familiarity with new construction and quality were instilled at a very young age.  His earliest building memories date back to preschool when he would follow his father around the family’s Midwest home construction business.  Always intrigued by watching a home built from scratch, it’s no wonder Bart’s career emphasis has been in new homes and design.  Between scouting new home projects and sketching floorplans, Bart felt it was time to make the leap into multi-family living.

A native of Fremont, Nebraska, Bart has spent 11 years watching and following the Phoenix metro area expand to the thriving city it is today.  He also holds a degree in journalism and has been an Arizona licensed realtor for five years.  Causes close to his heart include the Special Olympics and pet-related charities.  Bart is writing a book on pet loss and also has three dogs.

Bart is seeking his Eco-Broker certification and looks forward to continuing to build his career around urban living.
